Which phone-number options do you offer?
1. Host your existing store number for texting only (voice stays with your carrier).
2. Port the entire number into Pawn Leads (voice + text).
3. Forward calls through a brand-new Pawn Leads tracking line while keeping your public number.
4. New Local Number issued by Pawn Leads.
Quickest way to add texting without moving my voice line?
Hosting. We add two-way texting to the number your customers already know—usually within 24 hours of carrier confirmation.
Will my phones go down while switching?
No outage with Hosting or Forwarding. Porting has a brief cut-over (a few minutes) that we schedule off-peak.
Do customers still dial the same number?
Yes. Hosting, Porting and Forwarding all preserve your published number. With Forwarding, callers are silently redirected through a tracking line.
I need call recording and detailed call analytics, what should I choose?
Pick Forwarding (fastest) or Porting (most complete control). Both feed calls through our tracking platform so every inbound call is logged and recorded.
Do I need extra lines for Forwarding?
Your current carrier must have at least one spare rollover (“hunt-group”) line to prevent busy-signal loops.
How long does each option take?
Hosting: 12–24 h (carrier dependent)
Forwarding: ~10 min once forwarding is set
Porting: 7–14 days after carrier PIN confirmation
New Local Number: Instant (issued on the spot)
Will outbound desk-phone calls be recorded too?
Inbound recording is automatic. Outbound requires either Forwarding (dial out via our app) or our optional “soft-phone” add-on after a Port.
What does each option cost?
Hosting: $497 one-time - Standard usage fees (SMS minutes/pennies)
Forwarding: FREE - Standard usage fees
Porting: FREE - Standard usage fees
New Local Number: FREE - Standard usage fees

How much does pay-as-you-go usage cost?
Usage is metered. At today’s rates, $10 of credit covers about …
- 140 outbound minutes ( $0.0713/min ) – charged only when you place the call from the Pawn Leads desktop or mobile dialer, not from your in-store handset.
- 230 inbound minutes ( $0.0433/min ) – includes call recording at no extra fee.
- 250 SMS segments ( $0.0402 per 160-character segment ).
